Facebook lead generation ads or " Lead Ads" are a great way to get people to sign up for your freebie, at a lower cost to you.

HOW TO FIND YOUR LEAD INFORMATION

In this video, I show you how and where to find the email addresses of your leads. You will complete this step, after your ad has been running for a while or you have a few email addresses to collect.


This is a manual step to add your leads to your email service provider. Even though it's a free option, it is not ideal because you have to constantly keep up with transferring the info from Facebook to your ESP.



ADD LEADS TO YOU ESP USING ZAPIER

Watch me set up a "zap" to automatically add email address from your captured leads to your email service provider. Keep in mind that you'll need a paid premium Zapier account to be able to do this.

HOW TO SPLIT TEST

What if you want to test different creatives and copy? In this video, I show you how to duplicate your ads and ad sets to split test different targets, copy and creatives within the same campaign.


Please note that we will be using the same form in this example. You do not need to set up any separate automation to get these leads from Facebook to your ESP. 

 


A FEW RECOMMENDATIONS:

🔹Start testing with $5 per ad-set. In the beginning, you want to test and see which target audiences work.

🔹 Wait a minimum of 48 hours before turning off the ad-sets that are not working.


🔹To quickly scale, take those ad-sets that worked, duplicate them into a new campaign and double your ad spend.

🔹Lead ads are great for getting people to sign up to your list while offering a freebie. They're not that great for actually selling a product.
